“It was really nice and clean the front desk lady was nice and was there whenever I needed anything ”

“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”

“The breakfast was mediocre, at best. The fresh fruit tasted very weird. Clean, but plain rooms. I would stay again. ”

“As always the property was beautiful and rooms are new and lovely. The restaurant next door is a must try for breakfast it was outstanding ”

“We have been here as a base to go to sequoia national park, and we have been very happy with the hotel and the location. Perfect stay”

“The Darling is a very beautifull hotel and very well located. Rooms are very large and comfortable. The only problem is some of them are street facing and the noise is very high. We had this issue with our room, bit thanks to Justin we spent a good relaxed time, because he helped us to find another room. He has been bery kind.”

“The parking was slightly confusing but we didn't end up having any issues. We were under the impression this would be more of an entire house with a kitchen, the pictures are deceiving. It is just a room. It was still great for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the bathroom! There weren't any towels when we arrived so we weren't able to shower after hiking all day but when we woke up there were some outside our door. We did book very last minute. It wasn't exactly what we were...

“Property needs fixing up. Ceiling, floors, shrubbery in need of better upkeep. Has run down look. Restaurant noisy with the music from the bar. Can't even talk across the table. ”
