“The breakfast ends at 9 which is ridiculous but it was a good hotel.”

“I always enjoy the Horseshoe for its convenience to I-10 in lake Charles. Been stopping since it was new. Hasn’t been long but already maintenance should be on top of carpets separating in hallways, bathroom ceilings peeling from moisture in the showers. Housekeeping should pay attention to mildew in showers and the debris in corners and under the edges of beds. Staff would do well to greet guests with a smile, and not fraternize in front of guests. Wish there were healthy eating...

“Under renovation was not informed prior to booking. Room was unacceptable but neither management or Expedia were interested in helping. Toilet was broken and ran constantly making noise and causing the room to be damp and smell bad. Dead roaches seen in the hall that were just left along with other renovation debris.”

“The check-in process went smoothly and the room and hotel were clean minus the weird smell in the elevator. The shower sucked!!! I absolutely hated it. I hope they weren’t all like that. The staff was helpful.”
