“The rooms, facilities, location and amenities are all wonderful. Great property for families. The 4 stars is due to the lack of staff at times. The breakfast buffet was delicious however, during peak hours there were many tables that were not cleaned timely which left us waiting before we could sit. The same was true when attempting to get service poolside. All the staff was so friendly and welcoming, it just felt like they were understaffed. Would definitely return. ”

“Loved the property. Spacious and very clean. There were 13 of us and we all fit comfortably. We did bring a couple of air mattresses. We were there for my daughter’s wedding. The venue was about 15 mins away. The only regret I had was we didn’t have anytime to enjoy the pool and ping pong table.”

“Loved the location and the atmosphere. The girls at the Spinnaker were rude. I’m sorry it’s 9 am and I just wanted a coffee. Literally ordered a iced latte and a coffee. “Was supposed to stay at The Welk , a Hyatt vacation club resort in Escondido, it was awful (including the service and room). We left within 20 mins of being there. Drove straight to the Omni in Carlsbad. This hotel and staff were AMAZING! From the registration desk, the food, rooms, pools, grounds, all of it. Impeccable service and incredibly clean. It was a true Oasis. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved our experience. I can’t wait to go back. ”
