“Front desk clerk was wonderful, he was friendly and helpful. He recommended places to eat. Keep in mind most are closed during the week. We got coffee and breakfast at Bohemian Market, had lunch at Howard Station Cafe. We had a pizza and salad at Union Hotel. We wanted to try Negris and Hazel but both were too busy on a Sunday. Beds were soft and comfortable. The pool was too cold to use but it was a nice place to sit. If you’re adventurous I’d recommend the zipline course two miles away. ”

“Our second time staying here and it’s always so beautiful. We love the nature, heated outdoor pools for our kiddos, complimentary yoga classes and kayaking . Just beautiful property! Only thing they didn’t have for both days we stayed was the complimentary coffee station at the lodge . They kept saying we have complimentary coffee in our rooms . ”

“I want to say don’t come here because it’s so good. Probably safe from before being overrun though as it was not crowded. The restaurant, on the other hand, is very popular which can be a problem if don’t want to leave the property. Mixed blessing there but food and cocktails are extremely good. ”

“We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. The staff and management are outstanding. The location of the Manor is so tranquil and so welcoming. The room we had faced the River, which was fantastic. The dock is outstanding and access to (excellent) kayaks, paddleboards and floaties just makes accessing the beautiful River so easy. We really could not have been more pleased with our experience. “My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again. ”
