“The view is amazing from the inside and from the patio. The condo was very clean and kitchen had everything that was needed to cook. Beach is 5 min walk. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“The place was nice and clean, but a lot more remote than we realized. If you are looking for a place to really get away and unwind, it is a good pick. Bring all your food in so you don’t have to drive back out. If you are looking for a place as a home base for Carmel and the vicinity, it is a long winding drive. ”

“The views were definitely as described -- gorgeous, beautiful sunsets. However, be warned that the road and driveway up to these stunning views is quite windy and steep. Upon arrival, we changed our plans for going out at night and cooked all of the nights. That slight alteration did not affect our stay--actually enhanced our use of the property. Definitely enjoyed the Carmel Valley area and will be returning again soon. Thanks for sharing your space with our family!”

The bathroom needs a new shower curtain liner and the cleaning was bare minimum. Absolutely livable, not gross, but also not what I would expect to be a thorough cleaning before we arrived. ”

“Great stay! Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. Plenty of space for the 4 of us (me, hubby, adult daughter and a friend of hers) to hang out for the week of Thanksgiving. Fully equipped kitchen - and washer/dryer in the garage. Quiet cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood - grocery store less than a mile away. Beautiful beach less than two miles away! Fifteen minute drive to Monterey and Carmel - but we knew that. Overall: recommend!”

Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. Everything about the River house makes you slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of California. ”
