“Before travelling to Washington I contacted the host to verify that the sofa in this unit was a pull out; we needed two sleeping areas. The host assured me that it was. Upon arrival, we discovered that it was not. The host eventually moved us to another unit. Communication with the host was not easy. As for this property, I would not recommend it. “Overall, this flat offered all we were looking for, a great price close to all the sights we were hoping to see. I assumed because it was a 3rd floor unit that there was an elevator, I was wrong. My husband is disabled so my own fault for not asking the question prior to booking. We didn't spend much time going up and down the stairs, and grandkids came in handy to retrieve meal deliveries. “The cleaner did a ok job, I would suggest wiping the walls down as well I would highly suggest taking out the paper towels and adding a broom or some swiffers . I have never been to any rental where a broom/vaccum wasnt available. The logic should be if people want dry hands they can buy paper towels. But a broom is a necessity to keeping the apt clean. Especiall6 of its pet/kid friemdly no one wants to buy a broom on vacation. ”

“We’re seasoned travelers and VRBO customers! Nice apartment in fair-sketchy DC area. Booked 4 nights for Thanksgiving, night #2, awakened at 3:45am with a family standing in apartment! A duplicate reservation with code to building and apartment issued! Called VRBO and owner (Mary Stays-Siem) agrees to $350 refund (two nights) with VRBO recording call. However, one month later we’re still waiting for refund from Mary Stays and/or VRBO! Buyer Beware!”

"La reception, la zona relax, l'area ristoro tutto molto bello, peccato che la nostra camera era MOLTO MOLTO piccola, non c'era posto nemmeno per aprire i bagagli. Il letto era da parete a parete, attaccato alla finestra, si faceva veramente fatica, per una buona sistemazione bisogna prenotare camere sopra i 200 Euro a notte. La posizione dell hotel è ottima da un lato, verso la parte nuova della città, dall'altro lato..direi di no. Eviterei."

"Forse il miglior 4stelle in cui ho soggiornato. Hotel ben posizionato a circa 15 min s piedi da capitol hill, nuovo e bel tenuto, Su richiesta, ma senza alcun supplemento, mi è stata data una camera al 5o piano affacciata sulla via con parziale vista di capitol hill . Camera spaziosa, bagno nuovo, completa di tutto. Staff gentilissimo. Per un incomprensione ritornati alla sera la camera non era stata fatta. Subito é comparsa la signora che ha provveduto a sistemarla , nel frattempo drink offerto dalla reception a bordo piscina sul roof top (apprezzatissimo). Nostro figlio 12 anni ha approfittato della piscina , piccola ma pulitissima e oltretutto quasi deserta solo altri 2 ospiti. Apprezzata anche la colazione inclusa nel prezzo della camera che comprendeva, 1 main, 1 side e 1 drink a scelta dal menù (valore circa 80$ per 4 persone) Contrariamente a quanto avevo letto sulle recensioni 15 $ di voucher per consumazioni al bar li abbiamo potuti usare tutti insieme (2gg)l’ultimo giorno per pranzare al ristorante prima della partenza. Sicuramente se torneremo a Washington non mancheremo. "
