Hotel a Shadwell

“Great staff. Very clean. Breakfast was as good as you are going to find at a chain hotel. Only issue was one of the elevators was broken. Definitely will stay here again.”

“The Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is farther outside of Charlottesville than I would normally stay when visiting that city, but was necessary due to a concert causing all the rooms closer in to be booked. It was convenient to the main route into the city on 29, provided a very clean room and acceptable breakfast. The pool was outdoor and so not yet open at the time I visited.”

“Second room I got was fine; first room had tiny red ants in the bed and on the nightstand. This hotel has the oddest configuration of any I’ve stayed in. No signage on interior walls as to how to find the lobby, ice, directions to rooms by number or other amenities. And the lobby is down a half staircase marked “Stairs” from the first floor.”

“Clean, staff was helpful and easy in and out location. Starbucks and pizza just steps out the hotel door and across the parking lot. A/C unit in the room was loud and traffic noise from the highway is prominent. If you are a very sound sleeper, no problems at all.”
