“Starting with the good: 1. Comfortable beds 2. Nice quality towels 3. It's all pretty new as a hotel Negatives: 1. Shower had very little output. Struggled to get wet. 2. Floors were not clean when we arrived 3. AC temp was not working right - usually was freezing by morning 4. Breakfast was as advertised but one morning blueberry muffins were still frozen.”

“The place is very inexpensive so you get what you pay for. The breakfast was very basic. The sink in the bathroom had a crack in it. This place does have a free Tesla EV charger so all in all this is a great place to stop in overnight on a trip.”

“One of the nicest hotels I have been to in a while. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Good breakfast, and super friendly staff.”

“I was there 15 mins before check in and still couldn’t get a room for 45 minutes. The room was sufficient but the small fridge was dead warm and not working. The AC however worked almost too good for the small size of the room…hardly ever set the AC to auto but had to here.”

“My husband and I stay here every year because I participate in the Luray SwimFest at Lake Arrowhead. Although we don't golf, the course and facilities always seem to be well-used, and guests appear to really enjoy them. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the hotel staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. “The staff was nice, the room was disgustingly dirty there were stains on the bed spreads and on the mattress themselves, the sink kept backing up with every use. The walls and baseboards were gross, the tub still had someone else’s hair in it. I definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to stay there.”

“I have never been a fan of bed and breakfast places but this place can make you a believer! Location, location, location; can easily walk to historic district. The best feature of this Inn is the gourmet breakfast; we got a different delicious breakfast every day. This historic house is a well maintained beauty that you’ll love!”

“I spend about 150 nights a year in hotel rooms. Far from the worst I've ever stayed in but a far cry from the 8.8 customer review rating. Property was tired and our room, #108, was even more so. Stains in the bathroom, the carpet was damp, and it looked like somebody spilled a coffee in the heating / air unit, which clearly did not get cleaned up. Common spaces marginally better.”
