“Great views from the bar and garden, and perhaps some rooms though not ours as we were facing out the back. Rooms are clean and functional but nothing to write home about, with bathrooms not dissimilar to the toilets in a school 20 years ago. Nevertheless, a good night's rest and great location if you're playing golf and the nearby Cleeve Hill golf course. ”

“L’hotel è un antico edificio di epoca Tudor. Si trova in pieno centro, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Non ha parcheggio che però si trova a pochi passi. È una delle più antiche strutture d’Inghilterra quindi è consigliato a chi ama lo stile d’epoca e meno a chi vuole il contemporaneo, sebbene i bagni siano appena stati rifatti e siano quindi contemporaneissimi. Per chi ama le atmosfere vecchia Inghilterra è perfetto. Il pub interno ha ottime birre”

“Ho viaggiato spesso in Gran Bretagna e devo dire che questo è uno dei posti più belli in cui sono stato. Personale gentile e sorridente, camera pulita, spaziosa e comoda, dotata di ogni comfort. Non proprio centrale, serve la macchina per arrivare e si può parcheggiare nel comodo spazio privato del pub. Lo raccomando a chiunque”

“Camera spaziosa, carina, dotata di diversi comfort (asse, ferro da stiro, asciugacapelli, bollitore, ecc) e con bagno grande. Posto auto all’esterno gratuito e pub (con cibo ottimo) sotto le camere ma che non disturba assolutamente la quiete. Non abbiamo consumato la colazione. Consigliato! ”

“We loved our stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The lady doing breakfasts could not do more to help. We spoke with several employees and locals and they were all great. We had a good meal in the evening and the breakfast offering was excellent. Thank you to all. ”

“This is the perfect location to explore Burton-on-the-Water as you are right in the center of town. Check-in was easy and so was parking. The staff are very friendly and the gentleman that makes the drinks has a great sense of humor. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable although the location of our room was very noisy as it is right where all the deliveries occur for the hotel so we could hear vans driving on the gravel and opening doors during the night (Room 10). I would stay here...

Our room was close to a road and we could hear some car passing in the morning, but nothing that ruined our sleep”
