“So, the system went down when we were checking in the staff may have been inexperienced we were directed to sit down. Check in was smooth after that.
After we checked out we got a call from the manager stating that there had been damage done to a table in the room. Our mother in law had stayed in the room. I understand the need for follow up we found the process a bit upsetting.
The manager did not have any real information about the damage, just that a night table or table had been broken...

“Was pleasantly surprised by the room we rented. Room number 1. Had a private washroom, fridge everything we needed for a 2 night stay at the beach. The bed could be a queen to give 2 adults a little more room.
We were grateful for the air conditioner and coffee machine. They supplied a couple bottles of water, some granola bars which help when heading to the beach.
Would be nice to have a patio door to go outside from the room but it was just a short distance to front door. The common area was...

“Having a full kitchen was useful to store leftovers and fruits from grocery stores. The laundry machines made our clothes smell less than good though.the exercise room was surprisingly big with good range of equipment. Breakfast was good and changes daily. They have puzzles and board games you can borrow.
Location was ok right off the 401 highway but 20 mins from downtown or the university.”

“Ac worked great. Rooms were unique. Which brought us to booking here, with a loft suite.
Mattress was so comfy!
Restaurant supper (1 serving of chicken fettuccine $35 & no Parmesan cheese) was dry & breakfast (buffet style $19 per person) was worse.
Salt shaker crusty and hardened. Asked waitress to exchange with no issues.
Can walk across the parking lot though to stacked for $6.99.
All staff was friendly & helped where they could with what they could.
I read they had renovations...

“Great space for families. Rooms spacious.
Amenities are superb.
My problem with this hotel as we have stayed in many homewood suites all over Ontario and this by far was the most rundown and not maintained well. Everything was falling apart, light fixtures were broken, the tub was stained and rusted. Door cover kept falling off and the microwave didn't work. We have never had an issue with any other homewood suites before so this was disheartening to see it not maintained.”
