The fenced yard was great for our dog, and we enjoyed the fire pit on cool evenings. The cottage is a super short walk to the beach and one block down is the Burkes Beach access that has a bathroom and dog wash/shower stations. Great area. “This cottage was adorable! It was clearly marked, within walking distance to beach, and couple of restaurants. Things to know: internet can be spotty at times, driveway is gravel and there a couple of stairs. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. It was perfect for my husband and I. I could not imagine having more than 2-3 people in this space. There is no dishwasher so you need to bring paper plates or wash your dishes. I would totally stay here again. Very quiet neighborhood.”

“Our stay at the Blues Away cottage was fabulous! The whole house is light and airy, decorated in just the right amount of beach theme! The covered porch was very inviting, as was the backyard. If it had rained the entire vacation, we would have enjoyed just relaxing at the house! The outdoor shower came in handy, along with the spigot out front.
