“I guess Wyndham is buying up all the old crack motels, throwing a coat of paint on them and slapping their name on them. The reviews are deceiving, most of the recent ones say “ good”. I can deal with good. I should’ve known as soon as I got out of my car and smelled the thick odor of Fabuloso, clearly being used to cover other odors up. “An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.”
