“Great location for our visit to Longwood University. Hotel is older but with the updates, it seems they tried to stay true to character of the building and simplicity of needs. “We were fortunate to be the only ones staying so we didn't have any issues with the shared bathroom situation. It was pleasantly warm which was surprising because the house is so big. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast piece is definitely not really a thing anymore and it seems like the place is for sale but it's a lovely area and the grounds are gorgeous. We had a fantastic stay after apple picking. ”
