“My daughter that we were visiting near there has a severe allergy to strong scents, and we were thrilled to find the room and the reception area scent free! Only smell we could smell was new wood, which doesnt bother her. The staff said they use environmentally conscious cleaning products. Also having windows to open in case there were scents was helpful. Staff were wonderful, breakfast was pretty good unless you have allergies, though they did have almond milk. “I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable.
