“We stayed in one of the balcony rooms and the room was legit the best room we have stayed in the UK. The bed was a dream, super duper huge and the view from the balcony was magnificent. Their breakfast spread was delicious, the only downside of the stay were the cocktails from the Vale bar, I think they could do better with that. Apart from that, it was a 5/5.”

“Stayed for one night for my wife’s birthday and we had a lovely time.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, specifically Angeline in the spa, who was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything you want from a member of staff at your hotel.
Bonnie and Ffion in the restaurant were very personable and gave us a great service.

“Everything as usual was excellent,
However i was disappointed with the standard of the buffet breakfast.
On previous occasions we were table served. Breakfast was freshly cooked quite special.
Now unfortunately the llanerch breakfast experience has become ordinary and generic and dare i say, not worthy of the £20 charge.
Saying all that, we enjoy the lovely spacious rooms, quiet disposition and friendly staff.
We will, ofcourse come to stay again.

“Great little studio flat. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen well equipped, great hair dryer, lovely towels, comfy bed, great all round apartment. Didn’t bother me but 2 flights of stairs into the rafters of the house for anyone with mobility issues. Very comfortable, wound stay again. ”

We were given information of what to see in Barry Island.

“The room was lovely and clean plus they had put heating on which was a bonus on wet cold day. Disappointed the shower in our room would not work so had to use the bath not ideal when you like a morning shower. Very nice room not in main building but lovely Christmas wreath on door , Dyson hairdryer and room fan plus lovely selection of teas coffee and hot chocolate available. “Way better than expected. Room layout was amazing - there was a family - so L shaped room which gave some division.
Hotel is a tad need of some renovations - but for price and facilities - it was perfect.
Very comfy beds, clean rooms and a bar opened when we were there.
