Definitely avail for the free shuttle bus from Odawara station in Hakone to your hotel and back but make sure you do a reservation for this especially if you are traveling with luggage. “Very typical Ryokan with superb position over Gora. The hotel is a bit old but everything went very smoothly. The onsen was nice (there was an outdoor and indoor bath) but the best part was the traditional Japanese dinner”

“The Suiun is beautiful and amazing! The staff are incredibly polite and accommodating. The property has a beautiful private and public onsen, with options for rooms that have their own onsen. The views of the surrounding mountains are gorgeous. The Japanese style breakfast they offer is impressive, varied, and filling. I will be staying here again in the future.”

“Camera in stile tradizionale giapponese spaziosa e confortevole. Silenmzio assoluto, si sente solo in fiume che scorre. Futon estremamente confortevole, sono a disposizione anche i tradizionali kimono da utilizzare all'interno della struttura. Bellisimma la spa all'ultimo piano. Colazione varia ed abbondante. Personale gentilissimo.”

“We had 2 rooms for us - enjoyed the night in Gora Kadan Onsen (Spa) on the way from Kyoto to Tokyo. We had full board = dinner + breakfast and, while not at all low cost, it was one of the most memorable stays one can have with great food and very traditional Japan onsen atmosphere”

"One off the most breath-taking hotel a i’ve ever been. On Ashinoko’s Lake shores, this hotel has three restaurantes, two onsen bath ( outside inside ). Personal way very nice and kind, they took our luggage since se approva bestie the hotel and they even brought them to our room. Only one thing, there’s nothing outside the hotel and everything closes by 17pm ( even transport )."
