“Clean”

“My husband booked this hotel because he thought it was cool that it was an older building and the rooms were only in the 2nd and 3rd floor above a bar & restaurant. The room looked cute- modern decor in an old building. I’m not a neat freak but I do inspect the room. We hadn’t touched the bed and right there under the decor pillow lay two long stands of hair that was clearly not either of ours. Yuck. In the shower, I found several pieces of hair. “Grounds were a mess. Old mattresses puled in the pool area, trash on the lawn and no accomodation for modern tech, ie no charging ports, bad lighting etc. Sheets were freshly washed but were dingy. If these were my sheets at home they would have been donated to a local animal shelter at this point. Due to high demand for rooms in Reno this weekend the nightly rate, $181, was well above what I would expect to pay for a room with minimal amenities, linens that should have been replaced long ago...

“We were in town for an event at a different location and didn't spend much time at the hotel. The property was nice enough and I would stay there again due to it's central location downtown, although this is the first hotel I have ever stayed at which charged an early check-in fee for an afternoon check-in. Keep this in mind if you plan on checking in before about 3PM.”

“This hotel was very different than what i have ever stayed in. The room was small and reminded me of a college dorm room yet modern. The layout of the room was not well thought out either.”

“Breakfast is still awesome. Place is great location and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. 3 stars because no one alerted me to a new parking fee. Really disappointing to see this. ”

“Room was clean but the stopper in the sink didn't work. As a person who wears contacts this important. The housekeeping was very attentive to our needs.”

“On the last day, noticed A/C filter needed to be changed, probably the reason why im having trouble breathing now and feel like my asthma of 25 years ago seems to be coming back... With a vengeance! Parking is a bit tight especially since Many customers seem to be bringing in their big Chevys and Ford F-150's. the lot next to it is parking for Firestation Personnel which has space but you run the risk of getting called out by hotel staff or Fire Dept.”

“I did not feel safe staying here. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. There was not much left of a lumpy mattress. The walls were so thin I didn’t get much sleep. A homeless guy in a wheelchair was right outside my door when I left one time.”

“Just awful. The staff was friendly, but overloaded. Sheets were gross and had cigarette burns. The room smelt terrible.”
