“We stayed here for a ski gathering with friends and family. Although the condo is in need of some major updating, but the location helps overcome any shortcomings. The kitchen is well supplied for meal prep and service. The shuttle to and from the slopes is a plus. Most importantly, the customer service is superb. We left behind a boot bag and Gabriel went above and beyond to coordinate its return.”

“We were very happy with our stay. Everything was great. It is an easy and short drive to the lifts. I would recommend it. I would also recommend to the owner to label some of the locations of the lighting. There is a light switch under the counter that was difficult to find. You could also put in Lutron switches that would allow you to put remote switches anyway in the place.”

“The property is lovely. We had a one bedroom which was small but nice. It is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well equipped with Bosch appliances. When I walked in the kitchen, I said where is the freezer? Betsy said no freezers in the one bedroom apartments. I said we are in the area for 3 weeks and I need a freezer for my food and I also need ice. Betsy, at the front desk was lovely. She took my freezer bag to the Westin Hotel and got a bucket of ice for me. The ac was not working...

“You literally walk out of the lodge and the gondola is right there!! Property has a warm and accommodating vibe. Ski storage process was super easy. Room is clean, neat, and efficient…similar to a hotel room. Heated pool and hot tubs provide a very relaxing end to a long ski day. Overall, great stay!”

“This was our first Colorado ski trip but it will not be our last! The condo was clean and comfortable. My questions were answered promptly by the property manager and check in was a breeze. The resort had wonderful amenities and we all had a great time. Would recommend to anyone but the only thing I would warn is be prepared for the prices—Colorado was expensive!”

“The location and cleanliness of the room and hotel was excellent. However, it was the hotel staff that made our stay wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful: from front desk, housekeeping, bell services and shuttle service. Will be returning to the Lionshead Lodge again for our next Vail trip.”

“Very nice lodge-type condominium, clean and comfortable, great shower, great breakfast. Only downsides were the kitchen countertop was crowded with a second microwave, and I wished the small bag of coffee grounds indicated the weight so I would know how much water to add. ”

Beers were excellent, staff was quick food was OK. $130 gets you 2 16 oz Vail Brewing beers, 2 topo chicos NA, fries, crab salad sandwich loaded with mayo, medium plain salad, pork green chile stew (kindof). Health center is huge. Everything is aged. 200/night was a great price for vail. Right on the shuttle route. Doubletree highline was the same price for a room. But nothing else was less than 350. “The condo was great for our family of five. The location was amazing and the shuttle to Vail was very convenient. Pool and hot tubs were great. We would provide feedback that the mattresses could use an upgrade, and the shower in the first floor bathroom did not work. Otherwise we loved our stay.”
