“Me and my family came from new Jersey and was able to get a room at the Double Tree after we canceled our reservations at another hotel due to other hotels pool not available to enjoy while on vacation… We should have just stuck with the better option from previous trip. “Amazing is all I can say!!! The property was beautiful. The owner greeted us and gave us a tour, etc-our room, common areas, and where breakfast would be served. Speaking of breakfast- we were offered (and I ate) a delicious frittata with a yogurt parfait. We enjoyed our stay and we will again.”

“This might be the cleanest property I’ve ever seen. The whole place is beautiful. They also have a little internet lounge area and a fitness room with decent equipment. They have a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub area. The room was amazing. It was like a little one-bedroom apartment and the master bathroom was nicer than mine at home! It looks like they keep up with renovations regularly and invest in maintainable whereas a lot of big chain hotel franchises seem to not care anymore. ”

“The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all.”

“Interesting house, right in old town Williamsburg. Not much more than the two bedrooms and bathrooms but that was kind of expected. Would probably stay in the colonial houses again for their quaintness and convenient location ”
