“Very clean and well maintained! Excellent breakfast too!”

“This hotel was clean and spacious. We stayed three nights to go to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. It was close to both places (10min). It had all the amenities shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in the shower, small soap, lotion and make-up remover wipes, hair dryer. The pool and hot tub were warm and clean. the gym was small but well supplied. There was an eating area for breakfast for additional charge. Had nice breakfast items and coffee. “Great pet friendly place! Plenty of grass area to walk your dogs. My husband and I visit Williamsburg often to go to Busch Gardens with our mini doodle, and we always stay here. Decent breakfast, but very tiny coffee cups. Elevator is super slow, so we normally take the stairs. The staff has always been super friendly, and helpful when needed. Overall, they do a nice job of keeping everything clean. Definitely could use some updates and repairs in certain areas, but we always enjoy our stay.”

“Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!”

“Since I graduated from W&M, I've always wanted to stay at this place. No doubt it has a great location. But my disappointment started as soon as I arrived. No one outside to tell me where to park or help with bags. Walked in to a long line of people trying to check in with only 1 person working. The room itself was in need of a renovation. The restaurant and bar close early. Not what I expected. I won't be back.”

“This is a lovely place to stay. The site itself is beautiful. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and its history. They helped us use our time there more effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at The Aldrich House. We would return if we ever end up back in Williamsburg.”

“This resort charges you for EVERYTHING. Most hotels give you a cheap little toothbrush if you forget yours- not Kingsmill. They charged me $5 for a mini toothpaste packet (single use) and a toothbrush.”

“First of all nobody should be allowed to stay at this property. From the outside it is scary looking. And I wasn't even sure that I was at the right property upon pulling into the parking lot so I drove around the back and it looked like Armageddon… So unkempt… Debris everywhere apparently they are redoing the rooms but to leave the back of the building looking like that is unacceptable. Clean it up. Also when I went inside to let them know I had arrived and got my keys I inquired as to the...

“Stayed for two nights and was very impressed. All staff we encountered were very kind, the facility smelled and looked clean at all times. Very close to everything we were there to see and more! Would definitely stay again.”

“The rooms are very dirty with hairs everywhere and a lot of stains on the carpet. The breakfast is included in the price but... where is the breakfast? A coffee machine, some old donuts, cereals and nothing else is not breakfast. It should be better write: "breakfast is not included". Very bad experience, never again!! ”

“We drove 6.5 hours and paid for the room days in advance. Once, we arrived and checked in we were informed they had given my room away. I asked if he had a king and he stated he did but when given the keys, I was booked into a room with 2 double beds. I went to use the fridge and didn't realize it wasn't plugged in and when I had to move the shelf it was in to plug it in, I found 2 dead mice.”

“Friendly staff and clean room. It wasn't an issue for us, but the bathroom door did not shut. That could definitely be awkward for some people. I saw some notices on the walls about strict polices that were not mentioned online, including no more than 2 people per room and no guests, but it wasn't an issue in our case since we just needed a place to crash for the night. The exterior could use some sprucing up. There was a shopping cart full of bricks and a few mattresses just chilling out front....
