Hotel a Wattle Ponds

“Place was okay, but not a great deal to do in town. Good for a 1 nite stop over.”

“Good value budget rooms. Room was adjacent to the pub which is handy for meals, drinks etc (but be aware of the noise if you want to get to sleep early). Plenty of parking at rear. Overall, amenities basic but good value considering cost.”

“No stove to cook.”

“Good parking Good rooms Good location”

“Staff were good but the room was not satisfying as their were lots of insects and table was not cleaned and mosquitoes were alll night.”

“Fantastic place to stay. The staff are amazing, helpful and accommodating. We requested early access to our cottage and Fiona was awesome in making it happen. The staff are very friendly and make you feel like family. I definitely will stay there again. Thank you HVR.”

“The room was beautiful. Mix of modern and rustic. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had towels changed over and our room tidied even though it was only a 2 night stay which was a surprise. We loved sitting on the balcony facing the vineyard and listening to the array of birds. Would love to stay here again for a future visit.”

“Very comfortable room and the bed was sooo comfy. Good value place to stay in Hunter Valley.”

“El lugar estuvo todo perfecto hasta el ultimo dia del check out, me levante y toda la mañana no tuve agua , pues ya 1 hora antes como no llegaba fui a buscar a alguien para informar que me tenia que bañar para hacer la salida. “Elegant room. Jetted spa bath leaked but didn’t impact our stay. Bed mattress was a bit soft for my liking but I’m sure others like it, just wasn’t very supportive. TV offered stream play from photo to tv, however was extremely laggy and unwatchable when we tried. Staff were lovely and grounds were picturesque.”

“The bathrooms need to be redone as they have mould. We were looking forward to using the spa bath but didn’t as the jets were mouldy and had soap scum. The rooms are a nice size. Staff are beautiful”

“Beautiful elegant room and a super comfortable bed. The grounds and gardens were delightful. Our host was lovely and helpful. My only negative is the horrible acrylic blankets on the bed, hot and uncomfortable to sleep under. We will be back with byo blankets.”
