Baite in Wight

“It really is a very cosy and inviting yurt, with wonderfully eclectic decor. The owner made me feel very welcome, and it was fun to sit on the boardwalk in front of the yurt and listen to curlews. It is a short walk into the village for provisions, and there is a bus stop just a few metres' walk away. The road behind the yurt is a little busy in 'rush hour', but the position makes up for it. I haven't been to the island since I was a moody adolescent. It's lovely, full of variety.”

“The Bay Cabin had everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The facilities were excellent. We liked that we had a nice secluded, quiet spot. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. It was an ideal base for to explore West Wight - Totland Bay and Freshwater in particular.”

“Although it was October, the apartment was nice and warm. The lounge and kitchen areas were perfect for our needs, we loved looking out at the sunrises and the sea. Very useful to have our own parking place. The kitchen facilities were good, it was clean and very pleasant to stay there. Good places to eat within easy walking distance, it was a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Wight.”

“Had a truly wonderful time relaxing at this gorgeous home away from home. It was extremely clean, quiet and a great base to adventure from each day. The hosts provided lots of essentials and some lovely extras to enable us to relax at home after a day out. There’s plenty of space to relax and watch the squirrels and have a nice homemade meal with island produce. Having stayed at a similar property in previous years this definitely beat it by a far!”
