“Not even a lamp in room”

“no fan in bathroom and dog vomit on the floor. Room smelled musty. Breakfast was decent but coffee ran out fast. Front desk was excellent.”

“This hotel was so awesome pool was good and the staff didn't harass us or bother us all three days we were there,we are a big family and met there so it was like 8 kids altogether and they never made us feel unwelcome as we have stayed at other hotels where they're rude and look us down because of our family size,they were all courteous and nice to everyone,will definitely choose this hotel anytime I have to stay in Lubbock again 🙏🙌”

“The rooms were fairly clean. The beds felt like there were crumbs in it which was nasty. Everything else was alright. The staff isn’t very friendly but it is what it is. Breakfast was good. The lady working it was very on top of everything. Parking was easy and not an issue at all. Wish the pool was open but it seriously looks like shreks swamp. That really sucked.”

“This place once shined a long time ago, you can tell. It’s pretty run down, it’s not fancy so don’t expect it to be. The beds are rough, everything just looks rough. However, I was looking for something wallet friendly. I wasn’t going to be in the room very long, just needed a place to sleep. I stayed here two nights. Beds are rough, pillows are thin, sofa bed was run down. Kitchen had nothing, not even soap so don’t expect it. Sheets were clean, bed was made when I came back, AC worked....

“We have stayed at Ashmore Inn for several years. Each time we have stayed, we have had issues, such as the TV not working, the key card not working, etc. Usually the issues were resolved during our stay. This time the key card once again did not work and we had to go to the front desk every day of our 3 day stay to get it reset. The TV wouldn't work with the remote. We couldn't get it to turn off so we had to unplug it. Then it wouldn't come back on. They finally resolved the issue the second...

“Very clean hotel with attentive staff. Parking was a bit tight, but okay. All rooms seemed to be on the 2nd and 3rd floors with the reception desk and breakfast area on the first floor. Beds were comfortable, linens nice. Rooms had carpet.”

“The bar was the best thing about the stay. The bar tender was very nice. Although the older lady working at the front desk was very rude at check in and through out my stay with them. I asked and paid for a king room with a kitchenette but she rudely gave me a standard king room. I will never stay there again!”

“Checked in on Thursday and checked out on Sunday. This is the second year in a row during a yearly visit home to Lubbock where the pool was closed due to maintenance issues. Friday, slept in and did not request cleaning or bath towel service, requested do not disturb. Saturday morning I requested towel service and room cleaning. Was with family all day in Lubbock then returned around 11:30 pm to find room was not cleaned nor were there new bath towels. Called the front desk to request fresh...
