Hotel a Winston - Salem

“The staff were fantastic. The front desk attendants were kind and helpful. Location wise the hotel is only a few blocks from downtown where there are great restaurants and a brewery. Easy walk!! The building is dated, although it seems they are trying to update their rooms. The hotel rooms were dated. Dated fixtures, etc. but had updates as well including a great bed and comfortable linens. “The Room was clean and spacious. The food was good but a, warming, stone would have, ensured, a more desirable temperature. The Hotel is fabulous with all kinds of artifacts and information, pertaining, to the building. The location is excellent. The Bathtub is a real treat! I enjoyed every, moment. The water is hot and the pressure is good: Expedia quoted a price of $40.00 more, nightly, for an extra Guest. The Bill charged $430.00! I would like to know why there is such a large, disparity....

“The only complaint we had was we were on the 4th floor and the water never really got warm enough innthe shower. The facilitybwas clean, staff were friendly, and it looked modern. However when staying for surgery the next day it would of been nice to have a hot shower.”

“This is a trendy hotel located in the heart of downtown. The facilities are clean, rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Note, there is no onsite parking so you need to use valet or self park in a garage just a short distance away.”

“I enjoyed that my room didn’t have rug or carpet . The musty smell was not there which I appreciate it . The only thing I would’ve changed was that I needed to go to the front desk for new towels since housekeeping comes every other day”

“Breakfast was good. Lobby was welcoming. Staff were friendly. We had a few hiccups with the room but staff worked to fix them.”

“The rooms are highly sprayed with disinfectant spray. I could hardly breathe when i opened the door. Needless to say we left and did not stay the night because even our clothes smelled like it. Discusting experience. Parking was fine.”
