“Un très bon petit déjeuner ”

“We came from Newcastle and stayed the night. We wanted to try the monster sharer and it did not dissapoint. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty and the waiting team were superb, our drinks were always topped up and they were always making sure we were ok. The restaurant was super busy and there was not one time i didnt see a queue out of the door. I was a bit apprehensive when i saw how busy it was but the whole team had it running like clockwork. The rooms are not expensive at all...

“Very friendly staff. The surrounding is very quiet and beautiful. Just 8-10 minutes from the Durham town centtre by a cab. Breakfast is good! it’s an old property, but very well maintained. What stands out is the service. Every staff you meet are friendly. The hotel really seem to love their guests. ”

“What a lovely hotel in excellent settings. Staff were super friendly and loved our doys. Great food for evening meals and breakfast all cooked to order. Can't believe it is only ranked as a 3 star as deserves so much more.”

“Non lontano dalle stazioni dei treni e dei bus, dal centro, cattedrale, castle, musei, Flass vale, Wharthon park, Aykley Heads, river Wear. Dopo la consegna delle chiavi della stanza e la scelta dell'orario della colazione, per evitare l'affollamento, parte la vostra vacanza. Pulizia e distanziamento sociale garantiti. Non è comunque epoca per accessi assicurati a musei o monumenti. Tanti i percorsi a piedi o in bicicletta, se ne siete forniti. Il luogo è tranquillo e piacevole.”

“Lovely deluxe room with balcony and views over the grounds and river Tees, at a very reasonable price. The bar seemed short-staffed, leading to having to wait a while for service sometimes (not a reflection on the staff themselves, who were helpful and efficient).”
