Inn a Yorkshire e il Humber

“A lovely inn situated in a peaceful village but very handy for visiting the attractions within York and the North Yorkshire National park. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.”

We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. “Meraviglioso pub in centro a York, a due passi dalla stazione dei treni (10 minuti a piedi!) staff veramente gentilissimo e disponibile, ci hanno tenuto i bagagli in attesa del check in e anche all’uscita. Camere pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Se tornerò a York lo risceglierò (ha anche un garden esterno e il parcheggio!”

“Exceeded expectations all round. Unusual for uk pub bedrooms.. air conditioning! lovely bedroom above the pub, well appointed, comfortable and quiet once closed. New Owners Becks and Tony super helpful and welcoming. Pub itself also great. Will definitely be back in the future”

“Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.”
