“We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you”

“Staff don’t seem to be around at any time. Bed is quite poor. If anyone is staying in the room above you, it may sound like they are about to come through the floor. Bags of linen in the hallway all the time next to the room not just when they are cleaning. Door feels very flimsy and like anyone could walk in at anytime. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking for a nice weekend away but if you have a wedding near by it will do as a place to sleep.”

“Personal choice but didn't like the evening menu choices and breakfast was good if poached eggs were cooked better. Mine still had the clear egg slime on them. Staff were brilliant even down to the housekeeping. Room we had was really lovely, modern and a good size. Lots of space in bathroom and a great shower. Free parking was a real bonus. Really enjoyed our weeks stay at golden fleece hotel”

“It was not what was on the website when we arrived there was no one to meet us to say which cottage we were staying in I tried calling but no one replied I phone a number that was on a van parked in the carpark who then got in touch the with the gentleman who runs the cottage’s we should of entered at 3:00pm but didn’t get in till 5:00pm I was told I had been sent a message with the code at 09:00 which I never received”

“A lovely building to stay with parking; albeit a busy spot. The room was well presented with a sea view. Very comfy bed and almost everything we needed to relax , we just felt the bed side tables are too small and could add a coffee table to use next to the sofa and wall lights to gain space on bed tables. "Bella camera pulita e spaziosa. Un bell’hotel in una bella città. Zona silenziosa e centrale, comoda per negozi ,attrazioni e ristoranti.La colazione è buona e compresa nel prezzo. Il personale gentile ma non troppo disponibile. L’ ultimo giorno avevo il treno alle sette ed ho chiesto per avere la colazione da portare via ,visto che il sabato iniziano tardi, alle sette. Ci hanno dato un sacchettino piuttosto “imbarazzante”. Forse era meglio evitare…"
