Hotel a Blair

“We had a very nice stay at the hotel. It is nothing fancy but overall the room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. Breakfast was not great they didnt have much to choose from. The building is definately older but again nothing that really impacted the stay. The staff was nice and very friendly.”

“Back of property was secluded and no heavy traffic or railroads near by. Nice seating area off dining area. Centrally located to meet or needs.”

The pool was closed the first night which was a very big disappointment since that was the main reason we picked this hotel (and the waffle maker). The next 2 nights the chlorine level was so high we couldn't stand to be in the water more than about 15-20 minutes because it burned our eyes so bad. The breakfast was okay, all processed food. “We stayed 4 nights and the breakfast was terrible. Only fruit was a few apples that was never touched and the cereal was stale! Ice machine didn't work or the vending machine to get a water or soda so we went to the gas station next door. Should put a elevator in going up flights of stairs with luggage was not easy.”

“It’s a very old building that has been given a facelift. It looks great cosmetically but it’s in rough shape. There is not an elevator even though it’s a multi-story building. The first room we were given smelled like it had been smoked in, the second room had a fire hazard with a burnt outlet that shocked my wife when she touched the plug. After that they were all out of rooms so we had to find another spot to stay.”

“No place was very clean.Staff was very nice.Didn't like the fact that I paid for parking?And then when I came back about eleven o'clock eleven fifteen at night , there was no parking for me in any of the garages , or in the parking lot behind. You think if you were gonna charge people per slot fifteen dollars , you would make sure that you didn't oversell the parking lot outside of that everything was great”

“The rooms have been recently remodeled. When I got to my room there was a 50' extension cord leading to a charger for the window shades. I reported it to the front desk and they had maintenance come and remove it. I had a King bed room. The only chair was the deak chair. There was plenty of room for a comfortable chair or even a lobe seat, but nothing was in the area except an end table. An end table with no seat next to it. Humm. They said they were still working on getting the rooms...

“We were looking for a night lodging while on a cross country trip. This place was wonderful!!! The staff were more attentive and helpful than any other we have encountered recently!! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Absolutely no complaints. We would gladly stay again.”
