“Room was a good size, upgraded from what we booked which was a nice surprise, we arrived early and checked if the room was ready which it was so again this was a bonus! No staff on site that we saw but didn’t really need anyone, free to come and go as we pleased and the property felt secure and safe we even left the patio doors open to allow fresh air in, perfect location. Quiet spot in walking distance of Ambleside pubs would definitely return. ”

“The property is located in an excellent location, right upon Lake Windermere itself. The staff are all friendly and the breakfast is good. The beds are firm and uncomfortable for me but that might be a personal preference. ”
