“Had reservation from July 3 to July 5. Stayed there on July 4 weekend in 2022 and had good experience so am a returning guest. Things have gone badly wrong in the intervening years.
1. checked in at 2pm on July 3. It was a heatwave with temperatures in the high 90's. Was assigned room 222. Room was dirty and TV did not work. Cable set up ripped out of the wall. Requested a room change. Took a while and finally reassigned to room 214.
2. Delay caused us to be late for our scheduled...

“The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were lovely. The pool is disappointing because it is super tiny and there was a private group swim lesson while we were there which took up half the space.”

“The only thing was the smoke detector was chirping all day and night (room 326). Lloy-Ann replaced the battery and it didn't help. She did offer to switch out our room, but we declined. Otherwise, we loved our stay. That's our hotel any time we are in White Plains, NY, for a church convention. We highly recommend. Thank you, Baymont by Windham staff. God bless you. Keep up the great work.”

“I wish I’d stayed for a week so I could’ve hiked and swam in the lake. Instead, I was there for a weekend so we took advantage of the bar and the silence of the woods by simply walking through.
The staff we met were wonderful: Sean at check-in is gregarious and kind; Beth in the bar is efficient and friendly, as were both bartenders named Mike.”

“I booked this hotel so my children could use the pool to enjoy while us parents had prior engagements. The pool was closed and has been closed for months. Expedia DID NOT INFORM. Total waste of money. I had to pay for them to do activities outside the hotel, this put me over budget. The room was spacious but dirty. Carpet had a strong odor, refrigerator and microwave I had to clean disgusting, the bin that holds the iron, filled with stains & dust. Iron board stained and dirty. Tub had tile...

“Worst hotel experience ever. All the AC's were shut down due to a storm. Nightmare of a night. No air because the windows were locked (with nails), would've been too hot anyways. No fans, no help, and no clue if anyone's doing anything. Probably 90 degrees in the room all night, just ridiculous. When I left at 11am nothing was done still and front desk didn't know anything.
