“We loved our stay! We were so grateful for the stocked kitchen - coffee filters, olive oil, ziploc bags! - and for the extra touches and gestures of hospitality from the hosts. The covered porches were wonderful retreats after a day of exploring, and we loved that we were close enough to the national park to come home for meals, since food options were limited in the area. Beautiful home and garden, ideal stay - my kids said "the best we've ever stayed in!"”

“This was a great spot for us to stay close to volcanoes national park. We stayed in the pahoe’hoe and a’a rooms which are situated adjacent to one another with separate keys. For our family, this worked out well as our two boys (12 and 16) had their own space with their own bathroom and we had a separate space with our own bathroom. “Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine.
