“Wedding anniversary weekend with our kids. There was space for them to run around and even kick a soccer ball around. The boys made friends with another boy when playing soccer. The grounds are beautiful. The weather was amazing. Would have been lovely to have dinner there too. The included breakfast was perfect. ”

“A well organised and attractive property offering interesting tours of the geology of the area. The tent accommodation option proved comfortable and practical. Facilities for food preparation and eating are good but the addition of basic eating utensils would have enhanced the experience further ”

“Compact room, but with everything you get in a larger hotel room, and well set out. Good security lighting outside, and quiet location, behind the pub. Very clean and newly renovated. My only mention would be that it was hard to find where to check in… had to go to the public bar. Maybe a bit more signage would help. Overall, would stay here again as it is a bit more modern and cleaner than some of the other options I’ve stayed at in Cardwell. Perfect for breaking up a long drive north. ”
