Hotel a Berea

“Someone attempted to break into my vehicle and other guest’s vehicles in the parking lot of the Hotel. The manager did allow my husband to view cameras but the angles of the cameras did not show much so they should either have some kind of security or add cameras to ensure the entire property can be watched or caught on camera. Due to this situation, our door was broken off and cannot be used until we repair it. The other couple that approached me as I was assessing the damage another couple...

“This was a terrible place to stay: we’d already paid for our stay and would have left if able. It took 4 days to get our sink to drain. The shower water pressure was very weak and it did not get repaired until day 4 of our stay. Found someone’s socks on a chair. Pool in disrepair and could not be used. Good coffee and breakfast. Staff was pleasant but unable to get fix-it staff to help with bathroom repairs. Do not recommend this hotel!!”

“Was assigned a room and when I opened the door there were clothes and boots on the bed. When I went to the front desk I was finally assigned a bottom floor which I requested to start with. Also found I was given a non upgraded room when I paid for an upgraded room. When I asked to receive a refund for the difference I was told no. I will not be staying here again.”

“The cottage was clean, staff was so friendly, our stay was quiet and peaceful… it was perfect! Definitely planning to stay there again!”

“The rooms were very dated. Like you had to insert the card in the door instead of just swiping. The French doors in the bathroom did not close all the way so there was no privacy while in the bathroom. The carpet in the room needs replacing or removed. There was just an old carpet smell in the room. The towels in the bathroom had hair on them like maybe the cleaning staff didn’t have their hair tied up.”

“The pool was CLOSED! We always choose a hotel with a nice pool for our special needs daughter. We chose this one for that feature and were sorely disappointed that we couldn't use it. The breakfast was OK but not outstanding. The front desk staff was grest-- even suggested a terrific local Italian take-out restaurant.”

“It was under construction! No one told us this before we arrived. Noisey during day. Construction one floor up above room. NO snacks to buy. Staff gave us water then last night another staff said water was to be purchased. It was clean, staff nice, breakfast ok.”
