Hotel a Calverton

“The room was clean and comfortable, but the first morning, we didn't have any hot water. It was warm, but it wasn't hot. The next morning, the water was hot though. The room was pretty quiet, and the parking was fine. It was a little busy but there were plenty of spots. I would stay again.The staff was really friendly and offered a late xheck out which really helped. ”

“We often stay here when in town. We have always found the staff to be professional and customer focused and the property tidy and welcoming. Breakfast could be better but there are other options in a stones throw if you desire a more hearty breakfast.”

“No soap in room at first. Not informed that weekday and weekend breakfast hours are different. Not informed that I'd need a voucher to go to breakfast. Had to notify housekeeping before 9am if I wanted my room cleaned. Floor lamp behind armchair not working - no nearby outlet? ”

“The pool didn’t seem to be heated and was dirty. When I tried to call the hotel from the airport to get a shuttle, I had to call several times. They need a direct line for the shuttle.”

“Expedia advertises its hotels as either Free Breakfast or Breakfast($). Since Expedia didn't have Breakfast($) on this property, I booked it thinking breakfast was included. In fact, free breakfast was the main reason i booked this particular property. When i went down for the breakfast, i had to pay $17 per person. I didn't read it too carefully but Expedia apparently advertised this property as Breakfast Available, which can mean either or both. I think it would be better practice if Expedia...

“Clean room”

“Check in with as very easy and the front desk staff was pleasant. We were given a handicap room near the elevator. (we did not request this) The shower was so hot that it nearly burned me. Before I could even turn it down the water temp dropped. Just as I was rinsing my hair the water temperature became scalding again. The hotel should definitely do something to regulate this especially in a handicap bathroom. ”

“I have been trying to connect with someone at this property about my experience. The GM Jasmine hasn’t responded. The customer service representatives are providing mixed information. During my stay there were lady bugs and flies in the room and living around, both tv’s blanked out so I wasn’t able to enjoy and relax, the refrigerator went out causing all my food to go bad, the sink stopped up, and the maintenance/front desk did not tend to any of my request whether I called from the room or...
