“Motel check-in occurs at the CVI casino two block away. I saw no staff on site at the motor Lodge. We were replaced in a second story room. There are no elevators. While the room was clean enough, it clearly showed significant signs of wear and tear that had not been addressed. The door to our room was damaged and required some force to get open and closed. “The room was excellent with great amenities and a beautiful view. There is a great vibe here that allows you to be happy and relaxed while you taking in the beautiful surroundings. Anytime we are lucky enough to spend a night in Tahoe, this will always be the place we stay.”

“We arrived late. The lobby was busy. I later learned they were training new staff. We paid for a king bedroom and was given a queen bedroom. When we turned the sheets, we found a very big stain. They moved us and offered some snacks. We said no. We spoke to the manager the next morning. It was a nice conversation. The morning staff was amazing in the kitchen and the lobby probably because they were the regular staff. I let them know that I understand staff training and shortages but that stain...

“No one was at the front desk. Had to ring the bell and wait a bit. My son wanted milk for his cereal in the morning that you have to get from staff and no one ever answered the bell when he rang it. The continental breakfast to me wasn’t really anything, legit dry cereal and an apple. We enjoyed the fact the building was older but things were very dated. If you want just a quick one night this place would be good but do not have high expectations for it.”
