Hotel a Genova

“Beautiful property and had stayed there previously with great experiences but a disappointing experience this time. Kitchen in unit had a lingering overpowering food odor. Floors in unit were sticky. Dinner reservations at the resort restaurant were not honored due to minimal staff availability. Went back two different times and were told they were short staffed and could not accommodate us. Even offered to do a take out order but kitchen could not handle it.”

“If you are looking for a simple place to flop for the night then this place may work for you. I have travelled all over the country and have stayed in some 2-3 star places but not like this one. It would take to much space to list all the things that were very poor about this property. Chris the front desk clerk was the best part of the stay. “I don’t usually leave review but this was the worst stay I’ve ever experience. The check in instruction is horrible. It doesn’t say where we should check in and the front desk doesn’t pick up the phone when I called. It just give me the time and hour of operation and phone number. When we got there we went drive around looking to check In. During that time we went through the gated entrance which we though its part of the resort but turn out it wasn’t. It cost us $12 just to make a u-turn. Do...

“Everything was good, but their refrigerator wasn’t working properly. We kept some of our food in the freezer, and by the next day, all of it had spoiled.”

“It was smelling nasty. The corridor was awful smelling. The room didn't have hot water. Had to call the front desk. It took 2 hours to get the hot water running in the room. The receptionist , she was the worst. The front desk was empty every time I visited the lobby. She was out in the parking. Snooki g cigarettes.”

“The room was very clean, thee staff very friendly and the parking was easy to maneuver either outside or the parking under the building. For a senior it was real helpful having luggage carts.”

“Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues.”
