“I really liked the area. I love the aesthetic of the room. I liked how quiet it was and it was comfortable. I do wish there was a full size mirror in the room - we were visiting for a concert and wanted to see how we looked after getting ready. That’s my only tweak. The property is perfect and we will be staying again.”

“Lovely historic home - the architecture is preserved with contrasting but comfortable Ikea-style furniture. Great parking and walkable to wonderful restaurants and shops in downtown Birmingham. This is a self-serve accommodation with minimal staff interaction. Room 8 is the winner for unique charm. Our 2nd stay and we'll be back.”

“This is a cool old southern house. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were visiting a relative that lives in town and this was close by and just as affordable as the motels in town. We had the bridal suite, which was spacious. There were 2 things that could be improved upon, but are minor issues. 1: Shower water pressure was low 2: The door to the room stuck very hard and you made a bunch of noise trying to open or close it, Luckily there were no other guests in the house...
