Hotel a Chesterton Green

“Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

“It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. “Good location, unfortunately we didn't enjoy the Golf green being there just 2 nights as business trip. The rooms were confortable and well dimensioned, the TV was not always working well, as well as the internet connection, not abailable in the room area where I was accomodated. The restaurant, as well as the breakfast, were really good.”
