“Microtel- Janesville has a TON of TV channels to choose from which is wonderful BUT can someone explain to me why Fox News was the only channel muted out? You saw the screen but no sound. CNN was fine, MSNBC was fine, all other news channels and all other channels worked just fine...only FOX News didn't have sound. Why? Hmmmm. I will not go to this hotel again for this reason.”

“Our room was very dirty. The tub was dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere. The carpet was very stained. The room had a bad mold smell. There was a light tan recliner in the room that was so dirty, we could not sit in it. I would not revisit this property.”

“Staff was nice and friendly, however the hotel is falling into disrepair. Many ceiling leaks and water damage all over property including in the pool area which was actively leaking. Elevator out of service due to a flood on the lower level. Pool water was fairly cold and our room consistently smelled like pot or cigarettes and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. “We did not even stay here. The minute we walked in the lobby has the staff behind bullet proof glass. Turned us off immediately, we left. Did not feel safe when obviously the staff doesn't. Requested a refund and got denied. Do not recommend at all .”

“Property is beautiful. Bug season was upon us. Pool area attendants need to actually attend to the pool and keep it clean and the area around the pool. Should have a chair system for saving chairs. You can have as many chairs that are in your party. People have 10 chairs for 4 people. Garbage in and around the property piles up and takes away from the beauty of the property. Overall, if it want for the bugs, we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. Staff is kind and friendly. Lots of amenities....
