Hotel a Lake Ripley

“I tried to reduce my stay by one night and was told by the property that they would wave the charges for the extra night that I didn’t need, but I was charged anyway. Also, the room smelled unbelievably bad and the surface of the bathtub was pealing up. I checked out immediately due to the smell. I acknowledge that I needed to pay for one non-refundable night, but I was told by the hotel and Expedia that the second night would be waved and that did not happen. “Towels were missing and they were dinghy in color , supposed to be white but looked like they hadn’t seen any detergent or bleach for a long time.”

“Honestly, for a quick overnight during a road trip, it was perfect for the price. Clean room. Checked in at night and the night staff was helpful and nice.”

“Cleanest hotel ever. Granted the building is older, but this is the best maintained property ever. Friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect. I mean so many choices, the donuts are in little packages. There is yogurt and fruit cups and fresh bananas apples and oranges. Cereal in little boxes. Hard boiled eggs, cheese omelets, plain omelets. Milk cartons. Bacon, waffles, French toast, sausage!!!! So awesome. Pool was very warm and hot tub worked.Bed was comfy air conditioning worked fine.”

“The staff were very unapproachable and whenever we asked for assistance they seemed annoyed by us. The breakfast room doors were always closed and it was like they did not want us in there. And while we were in the breakfast room it was absolutely disgusting. Split/stuck on food everywhere that looked like it had been there for a LONG time. We went to go swimming and there were band-aids, spiders, debris all throughout the pool. We had to grab the cleaner and scoop items out prior to going in. ...

“Hotel is run down a needs to be updated. Was advised at check in , was on second floor with no elevator. My grown son had to forcefully advise I’m disabled an cant do stairs. They reluctantly moved me, but put me beside breakfast room, which was very loud.”

“Easy to get to from the interstate”

“The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking.”
