“Being winter there was no extra blankets. Air conditioner cut in and out every 5-10 minutes so the room didn’t stay warm. There were very rowdy people in other rooms carrying on till late in the night.”

“We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. “Very load until 1am. I wish i was told about the load entertainment. Very disapointing”

“This motel was satisfactory for our one night stay. Checking in was easy and Michael was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but a bit dated. The beds were comfortable. The only negative for us was the ancient airconditioner on the wall. It could not be programmed with the remote and we had to ask Michael to set the temperature for us. During the night when it cut in it sounded like a helicopter taking off and woke us up repeatedly. Eventually we had to just turn it off and hope the room...

“Very good value motel (at least midweek) close to Hunter Valley wineries and fast food outlets. Usual motel layout and amenities, a little dated but not to the point of being ragged. I would stay there again.”
