“More like a Motel 6 than a resort. Only amenities were coffee at the lobby and a swimming pool. All of the rooms face the parking lot, no pool views. Extra towel not available, must turn in dirty towel to get a clean one. Room was clean.”

“The listing does not say you share the property with strangers. I had my kids with me and I could not sleep there because i dont let my kids sleep around strangers. I own my own home I wouldn't have booked the location to let them have a night out if I would have known we would be sharing the house with multiple seperate guest.”

“Surf and Strand is a great place to stay for your Galveston Getaway! It was the most immaculate B&B ( or hotel ) I have ever stayed in. The place was perfect for my wife and I. As advertised, it was so convenient to both the Seawall and the downtown area. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and the place was just a block off one of the main streets that made getting around the island so easy. Definitely recommend Surf and Strand and will be booking it for our next trip to Galveston!”
