75 Acre Summer Retreat with Private Swimming Pond, Trails, and Cedar Hot Tub

Watch the sunrise from the master bedroom, and watch the sunset from the deck! This sweet 1600 square foot ranch house has a large private pond steps from the house, mowed paths around intoxicating hay fields, and marked trails through the forest.

Excellent location in upstate New York - Two hours north of NYC. 15 minutes from Catamount Mountain (zip lining!); 30 minutes from Great Barrington, and 20 minutes from Hudson and Catskill.

Swim from dock to dock in the absolutely delightful pond! Or enjoy a walk through the fields and woodland paths. And the icing on the cake: There is a gorgeous 400 square foot music studio with an upright Steinway piano, radiant heat cherry-wood floors and an aerial hammock.

The cedar hot tub at the edge of the 40 foot deck is chemical free.

The living room is sweet with cozy vibes and a large picture window through which you can watch the sun set. There is a small, but fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, living and dining areas (including a working fireplace for winter months), three bedrooms, and 1.5 baths.

The three bedrooms are:
A Master bedroom with a king-size bed and private ½ bath;
A second bedroom with a full-size bed and sliding doors directly onto the deck;
A guest bedroom (also with sliding doors onto the deck) with a single daybed that pulls out into a king-size one.

No pets. Non-smokers only. We have no microwave, TV, toaster or Central Air, but there is one movable AC unit. There is WiFi. Tenants supply their own sheets for two of the bedrooms, and towels. There is a Hannaford 10 minutes away for easy groceries, and a quaint dairy 7 minutes away where you can visit animals and buy raw milk and meat. The delicious West Tagkanic Diner is 5 minutes away. So, things are close, but you get to feel as though you're out in the middle of nowhere.
