“We were all attending the Duchess County Sheep and Wool festival. The property had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to cook so we didn't have to venture out. The lighting throughout the house was excellent and we knitted all over. Having 2 full baths was great, too. There was never a line at the door. The home is older so the staircase is very steep, but we overcame it! We did blow a fuse at one point and Kip got our lights back on very fast....

“This is a charming, historic, well-maintained home on a beautifully landscaped lot. The updates in the home balance a respect for tradition while also providing modernization. The village of Millbrook is a quintessential twee New England village. The house felt very comfortable and homey and the caretaker was attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!”

“The interior of the house is comfortable, light and airy, with windows that look out on the lake. Exerior needs some work, washing machines underground, area could use some clean up. Lost running water for a day due to problem with pump, owner on it immediately. Location was terrific, about halfway between Rhinebeck and the Massachusetts border. Good walks in beautiful countryside.”

“Stayed at this property for a week. Home was clean, beautifully decorated and well equiped. Owner was attentive but not intrusive. Enjoyed watching the free range chickens and walking the maintained paths on the property. Great location, close to village center with shops, restaurants, a great market and a great bookstore. ”
