“Room had nats all over it and the pool was closed. Staff was helpful and switched our room and location was convenient for events in Louisville.”

“Pool is small but enough to cool you down. I almost got locked in the bathroom. The door was not lock but we couldn’t get it open!!! I let the front desk know it took 2 people pushing to get the door open. Also pets are allowed but you cannot leave them alone in the room. There is no breakfast either which I knew none of this until I was at the hotel. It’s not posted anywhere.”

“The room was Ok, just a place to sleep. It was relatively clean. The pool was not in service and there was no notice on the site, (we have kids and it was really the only reason we stayed here). Spent $10 to do 2 loads of clothes (only 1 washer, 2 dryers, and they still didn't get fully dry). The "breakfast" was thoroughly unimpressive. Overall, Skip this place unless all you need to do is sleep.”

“The breakfast was simple, but pleasant. They had full fat yogurt and whole milk, and a pancake machine instead of the traditional waffle machine. My wife especially liked the raisin bran. The room was fine, but the details were a bit lacking. The bathtub had a substantial gap on one side, for example. The people were singularly great and helpful.”

“House is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, & great views of the lake. Well stocked but possibly a 8" frying pan would be great & the entire group staying commented on how hard the beds were. Would absolutely stay again though. Beautiful & the Susan was great with the communication.”

“Lovely property in a pleasant neighborhood. Check-in and -out was easy. The furnishings were comfortable and well taken care of. The front porch was very inviting. I enjoyed sitting in the rocking chair in the evening. The backyard is fun, sporting a swingset, playhouse and play equipment for kids. There’s also a koi pond with small koi fish. It was fun to sit out there and watch the fish. A gregarious, friendly orange tabby cat, who is a stray, visited the last night I was there. He enjoyed the...

“Property is beautiful. Mansion in the historic area of New Albany. Just be prepared for stairs, but it is worth it!”
