“Loved the stay!!!”

“The Virginia Highlands hospitality is evident in every employee at this property. From the moment we checked in to checking out the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their community. We were immediately pointed in the right direction for good food, beer and music. The Breakfast was on par with the Hampton Inn Brand and the Breakfast room was immaculate. Hot tub was hot and our room was quiet. My only comment and this applies to many hotels; guests should be informed on booking that...

“Nice place to stay the night. Nice people. Easy, well lit parking. I was happy with the room. Not much of a breakfast, muffins and bagels.”

“It was self check in, so we didn't see any staff until the next morning. We were the only ones there and pretty much had the run of the place. Beautifully furnished. There was no one else there, but we still wound up on the third floor and had to drag our suitcases up.”

“This was a booking I made for my sister who’s traveling to Florida by herself. They put her in a section of the hotel that was basically abandoned the room was filthy and the toilet was clogged and disgusting. When she asked them to move her room they argued with her and gave her a hard time and then ended up keeping her in the same section right next to the room she was in. I booked this room for my sister because it was conveniently on her way home never ever again don’t use this hotel”

“This place was quiet, clean, inexpensive, and within walking distance of downtown. It was also utterly devoid of charm.”

“Great place to stay. Amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better lot. ”

“I stayed one night I was alone the bed was soft and comfortable the AC / heater worked well it was somewhat noisy the little refrigerator was a little bit noisy as well. The picture of rooms online showed that there was a desk with a chair but there was not a desk, I was hoping to sit and study some at a desk. Since it is half the price of the nicer hotels you have to set your expectations lower.”

“Clean and quiet location.”

“The kitchen cookware was disgusting: old & dirty Junk drawers for utensils Broken microwave door, we couldn't use cause glass broken Refrigerator leaked in back top shelf, under ice maker There wasn't any typed information in cabin to go by for instructions or reminders The back porch was covered in leaves ankle deep, we swept but it should have been blown off before we came. View wasn't good as expected I really thought it had a wood burning fireplace to use from pics.”

“very clean and comfortable , the property was peaceful and quite.”
