“Booked this place on a whim. Was looking to break up our trip across a few days and stay somehwere along the way. I have a family of 6 and so this looked very desirable. We stayed in the barn. It was cozy and eclectic. Everyone slept very well and the kids very much enjoyed petting the goats and trying to entice the other animals to come closer. The family host was extremely friendly and attentive and the breakfast was to die for. The town of Washington is the old Confederate capitol of Arkansas...

“This was such a fantastic last minute choice for my large family! Even though there are other cabins on the property, everything felt very private, catered to, and simply wonderful. My kids were so excited when they found out we were going to stay another night. I can’t find the words to describe how peaceful, grounding, and fantastic this place is. “My family and our good friends stayed 2 nights at the Coulter Farmstead. The farm is so nice and it was fun to explore! They have a really cute mini Highland bull and a small herd of mini cattle. There are also goats, 2 pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. It was really nice to drink coffee on the porch in the mornings and watch the animals. The proprietors are very nice and attentive. It was a very nice quiet place to relax. There is also a creek on their property. I wished we could have stayed one...

“Property is incredible! My dog LOVED being able to run around freely (we checked this was ok with the owner), and she became fast friends with the owners dog, Arlan, who also runs freely. My kids loved exploring the grounds as well. Each cabin is set plenty far apart from each other so the privacy is perfect. We stayed in the “dog trot” cabins, 2BR/2Bath, and the inside of each was immaculate and so tastefully decorated. It was super cool that a wide hallway - the dog trot - separated each of...

“Dog-Trot Cabins are my favorite homes. This was my first time getting to stay in one and it did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and all the animals around are spectacular and the owner is very funny and super friendly. We also opted for the hearty breakfast, served to us in our cabin, and it was delicious! If we find ourselves passing through in the future, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!”

“Our family really enjoyed staying in the Barn at Coulter Farmstead. It was nice to walk around and pet & feed the animals. The farm dog Able was so sweet and wanted to escort us everywhere we went. The pool was so refreshing after a long day of exploring the area. We had no complaints with the barn. It was so comfortable and welcoming and had the most gorgeous views. The mercantile was always fun to visit. The breakfast was SO good, not sure how they make the yogurt but would have loved to order...
