“Hotel lobby was very clean but our room was filled with stink bugs (counted at least 10 visible) and TV did not work. We called the front desk (which they seem to not believe us) and came to room to validate our concerns. We were told they have a stink bugs problem that they couldn’t control and verified….. yes the TV was broken ( turned on with sound but no picture). Staff ended up changing our room with NO Bugs and a working TV.”

“Just what I needed”

“Our trip was wonderful, but staying at CJ and Mitch’s beautiful property made it truly unforgettable. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, and the mountain views from the back porch are breathtaking. My dad especially loved spending time with their sweet dogs and donkeys—it became one of the highlights of our trip. We spent so much time relaxing on the porch, soaking in the peaceful scenery, and it honestly couldn’t have been any better. My dad has Alzheimer’s, and seeing him smile, laugh, and enjoy...

“We stay here every time we visit Tazewell! I love how immaculate and thoughtful everything is!”

“Great property, spacious fenced yard, beautiful welcoming front porch on peaceful street. We had a wonderful time!”

“Beautiful newly renovated rooms in the perfect location”

“Our only regret was that we didn’t have time to enjoy all that the property has to offer. We plan to return and stay longer.”

“On a motorcycle trip with a bunch of friends, we had an unexpected delay in our plans due to weather and we had to find last-minute accommodations. I emailed and called Beth and she quickly responded and not only made a great recommendation on how to accommodate our riders, but she also offered a small discount! Last minute save! Thank you, Beth. Sometimes gems like this are found without even planning! We will be back! Great place, and I recommend it to anyone.”

“Perfect place to stay to ride all the roads! Immaculately clean, comfortable beds with all the amenities.”

“Laura met us with a smile, guided us to our first yurt adventure. The views are inspiring, healing. The yurt is almost like a spa, it is so well appointed. I wish I could stop the noise from the trains, but otherwise idyllic. a bit rugged and steep driveway, but it gets you to a stay you will remember with smiles. We stayed 3 nights, enjoyed the town, hiking around a lake, hiking to a waterfalls nearby in WV, small town shops that we favor exploring, pleasant service everywhere we went.”

“The house and garage are amazing and in great shape. My only point of concern (not really a complaint) is the listing says Central air, buts it’s just one window unit. Not a big deal for us since it was in the 60 at night but it would be hot in the summer. I would still recommend this house and will stay here again.”

“Great place to stay. Very comfortable and close to food and our grandson’s wedding location. We didn’t use any a/c and forgot to turn it back on.It would be nice to have checking out instructions in the unit to remind people what they need to do, but otherwise it was an enjoyable stay. Thank you.”

“Great Property and host. Great location for our motorcycle trip.”
