“Phenomenal new hotel, great location walking distance from everything in town, they have lots of great inclusions with lots of attention to small details that makes all the difference for e.g. T2 teas, milk lab milks, St Ali coffee, $35 per person of vouchers to use for brekky at the cafe downstairs, the ability to order ice buckets free on demand from the virtual minibar. Will definitely be back next time we are in Newcastle.”

“Very clean room, with all we required. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had Happy Hour drinks and a nice meal. The outside dining/drinks area is lovely with heaters and water views. Would have loved a swim in the pool if it hadn’t been winter!”

“Some of the rooms are a long walk from the lifts which were not working on the weekend. The coffee was not good for $6.60. Much better to go to the shopping centre nearby”

“Very disappointed with this hotel. TV did not work. Tablet rebooted every time placed in docking station despite being powered down. Light & fan in bathroom on auto for 5 minutes even if just walking past & not entering. Very frustrating in middle of night. Needs soundproofing. Despite being on 6th floor we could hear lots of street noise. Very disturbed night. Bar closed at 9pm just as theatre finished. Would not stay again.”

The hotel has a great sense of style, with thoughtful interior design and small details that make the stay feel more polished. I especially liked the fresh, pleasant scent throughout the lobby and corridors, which added to the overall feeling of cleanliness and quality. A comfortable and well-maintained hotel that I would happily recommend.”

“I always stay here when I visit Newcastle mainly because of the convenient location and reasonable price. My room was clean and comfortable as usual and the staff were friendly and helpful.”

“This Ibis hotel is alot more old / worn out compared to the other Ibis hotels I have stayed at. The hallways and room Carpets and walls has been better day. The room is clean. Has everything you need. For 1 night stay it is ok. Main Street is not a nice but surrounding areas is ok and easy to get around.”

“Location in the center of Newcastle, close to restaurants and facilities. Parking was very good and safe, but was an additional cost. Staff were friendly and helpful, gym was good. Room size was large and thet kitchen and dining area were very good. Bedroom was large and bed comfortable, a mirror in the bedroom would have been good. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.”
