“Anila was very accommodating. The property is very clean and the bed was comfortable. No bugs! There are a few fast food restaurants and a couple of other restaurants as well as big service stations. We stayed because we took the Cajun pride swamp tour, which you could probably get a discount if you mention that you’re staying at the hotel and ask Anila about it. Also cheaper if you book right Through the hotel. I thought Experian was supposed to get you a discount, but clearly not.”

“Wonderful space! Elizabeth is very attentive if you need anything, but gives guests their space. Many thoughtful details (soaps, towels, games, TV subscriptions, fresh eggs, coffee, drawing supplies, treats to feed the chickens and cat, etc...). There is a composting toilet (not a downside, just something to be aware of).The upstairs/bedroom is much bigger than I expected.I stayed by myself and felt safe - driveway is gated and the cabin is all the way to the back. The entire backyard is private...

“Scam ! We never received information on how to check in . Made several calls and no one had any information. Pulled up to the property (a duplex ) with shoes sitting outside the door. The neighbor came out & in his exact words “assured “ us that this property was unavailable. ”

“Book a room furtherest from the road due to traffic noise. Room floor needed a sweep otherwise everything else was good. No cutlery or crockery in kitchenette ”

“We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay....from breathtaking sunsets to amazing wildlife. The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games.... The host and staff were very nice and always available. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!”

“This property was very nice and accommodating. Our host did a great job of communicating and staying in touch with us. The only small problem (which ended up not being a problem at all for us), is that the property is ONLY accessible by boat. They do provide a small barge for you to burrow and they offer a “boat taxi” service. Overall the experience was great, just be prepared for a tiny boat ride across the canal.”
