“The Hidden Gem — Honest ReviewThe Hidden Gem has potential, and our host was very nice and accommodating. The location worked well for what we needed, but unfortunately, the property itself was disappointing. The camping trailer is very run down and needs significant updating. “The tvs did not work. The water was shut off in the morning. Place needed tlc. Just old.”

“Cool and unique spot. Great host!”

“The house was perfect as the owners were very helpful.”

“The suite was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook. There was even ice in the freezer! The view of the Helderberg Mountains is spectacular and the peacocks and other animals were so interesting. I highly recommend this gem of a place to stay!! I will definitely be back!! Thank you Jason and Joan for your attention to detail!”

“Absolutely gorgeous property, the owner is awesome and can’t forget Leo the cat. ”

“Beautiful house, well-equipped, on a wonderful lake. Our three-generation family of seven loved canoeing, kayaking, and pedal boating. The pool and tennis courts were a huge hit. This is our second visit and everyone wants to come back. Thank you!”
